Upstart offers workshops on writing and making short films & Upstart holds an annual short film contest. Upstart's workshops help you develop a body of work for career or hobby! What do you want to make? Whatever your goals, you can get it done at Upstart. We made this production, Bastrop: The First 175 Years, using the same information and equipment that we will teach you!

Upstart manages BCAT-TV (Time-Warner ch. 10) which goes out to the City of Bastrop and the surrounding areas. And if you become a BCAT-TV Station Producer, you get free use of our digital video cameras, microphones, lights, and computer editing systems! We also offer Home Producerships and Multiple Producerships to showcase your videos on BCAT-TV. Whatever your video goals, you can get them done at Upstart!
