"BLACK ORPHEUS" screening TIME CHANGE

April 8, 2008

Next Sunday, Apr 13, Upstart will screen BLACK ORPHEUS at
6:30 p.m.

The time change is because we don't want to conflict with
the Bastrop Fine Arts Guild's gala, which runs from 3 to 6.

Admission is free, but we are hoping for a $5 donation if
you stay for the discussion. BLACK ORPHEUS is a 1959
Marcel Camus' film set at Carnival in Rio de Janero,
Brazil. The music is wonderful, and the cinematography is
alive with life and color and movement. It's a fabulous
movie.

On April 20 we'll resume our usual 5 pm showtime with
JESTEM
(translates as I AM), a contemporary Polish subtitled
movie.
