UPSTART "Writing A Memoir" class
October 10, 2007
What is a memoir? Why should you write one? A Memoir is anytime you share your life stories on paper. You don't even need to have lived an exciting life because every memoir is interesting as long as the story is well told. This class is not just for aspiring writers, but for everyone who wants to ensure their personal insights and experiences for their children and posterity. This course will be taught by fiction writer Carolyn Banks. Carolyn Banks is the author of a series of humorous equestrian mysteries: Death by Dressage, Groomed for Death, Murder Well Bred, Death on the Diagonal, and A Horse to Die For, all of which are scheduled for re-release by Amber Quill Press. In addition, Carolyn has written Mr. Right (a smart-ass parafeminist psycho-erotic thriller), The Darkroom, and Girls on the Row. She is also a journalist and videographer. Course will be limited to 9 people. DATE: November 2, 9, and 16 (Friday evenings) TIME: 6pm-8pm WORKSHOP FEE: $90 Registration instructions on this web page-- http://www.upstart.citymax.com/articles/article/4251370/87399.htm Sincerely, Carolyn Banks Executive Director, Upstart Inc. www.UpstartInc.org
