GET READY TO SHOOT

Come to GET READY TO SHOOT at the Upstart Media Arts
Center, 1800 Linda Street and work with
writer-director-producer Sidney Brammer on the Chad Dean
short script, "YOU SAY." This script won the Upstart short
script contest this year. Find out why Brammer chose it,
how each scene will be staged, what locations we'll use,
how we'll choose actors, where we'll place camera and WHY
these decisions are being made. In short, find out
everything you need to know to organize and make your own
short or feature using this one as a jumping off point.
Sidney Brammer is the writer and director of the
award-winning BORDERLANDS. She is a seasoned teacher as
well. Why go to NYU or UCLA when you can come to Bastrop
for a hands-on course every bit as good as you'll get
there?
Saturday October 7 at UMAC, 1800 Linda Street, 10 am to 4
pm. Everyone will get a copy of the script.
